I'm afraid I can't leave the cycling.
Fantastic effort, I was slighty concerned that they'd gone out too quickly and would fade a bit, but my fears were utterly unfounded.

Women's Quad Sculls final now - apparently we're not expecting a Medal, but who knows.
Amazing stuff from the rowing girls! Very proud we've got our first gold medal. Never looked in doubt from early on. 
This one appears to be going a bit less well - as in we're last. 
Hopefully the Men's 8 can pick things up again at 12:30

Shame with the women's quad sculls. From first to last in ten minutes, are there any more rowing finals we're competing in today?
Yup, Mens 8 in about 10 mins. I understand we're in with a decent shot of a medal of some colour.

Just watched the medal presentation. Good to see the Union Jack going up the flagpole 3 times. (OK it was a little smaller in two of the flags).
500m gone and we're in 2nd place.
