f***ing great, our mortgage is 0.76% below bank base rate with no cap on it. Keep it up Mr Brown, soon we'll be being paid to live in our house

Blimey. Thought we were doing well at 0.5% above Base.

Mind you, savings are getting slaughtered at the moment!

Wouldn't there be some very small print in the mortgage contract saying that if the base rate went to or below 0.75% that although your payments would stop until the base rate rose again the mortgage provider would not pay you ?

the energy markets clever clogs :lolol:
My eldest son worked in the energy markets , he got fed up after 3 weeks knocking on doors trying to switch customers to a new gas/electric supplier without getting any commission.

why ? cause i might f*** it up as much as brown and darling are ? by the way what do you make of blair's comment that the first years of economic good fortune after labour took office were largely down to luck ?

I'd rather Brown's clunking fist be on my tiller thank you. All Osborne seems to be able to manage is a self-satisfied smirk.

Happy new year to you.:lolol:
