Called in for a afternoon and night in Sept 2001 when sailing a yacht from Cork to Southampton. Seemed very nice - warm, beaches, couple of nice pubs. Not exactly rockin', but pleasant. Hard to believe you're in the UK. The sea round there is littered with hundreds of little islands and rocky outcrops - it's worth a walk round a coastal path to get a bird's eye view of it all. Nice at sunset.

Went for NYE a few years ago, nice little place, only 3 pubs but pretty good ones. Was a bit difficult to tell as a whole as 3 X as many people there on NYE as island is one big fancy dress party. We stayed a couple of extra days mind & it does seem like the sort of place that has many more houses than surnames. I would imagine in summer is brilliant there though.
