For as long as I can remember, there seems to be a custom of putting on a silly voice when pronouncing the letter "G". I`ve never understood why - does anyone know ?.
Saying "G" normally would make it too high pitched, I reckon. It's easier to make a more gutteral "G" seeing as the singers have deeper voices?
