Yet another clone of all all the other crap bands around at the moment.

This decade is going down as the worst in terms of bands coming through or producing music with any longevity. Disposable culture is alive and well and boy is music suffering as a consequence.

Editors - not The Editors.

....and very good indeed, yes.

I was just about to point that out

I like them, but there is a lot of filler on their album

One of the better albums of 2005, and very good live. Saw them last year and going again in February.

A lot of people latch onto the dour Joy Division/Interpol comparisons and dismiss them out of hand as a result, but they overlook the sheer euphoria in some songs, such as Lights. And that's far more reminiscent of the early 80s Liverpool sound of people like the Wild Swans and Icicle Works...

Saw them live last year and very entertaining, if a little disposable on the lyrical side.

I went as I am a massive Joy Division fan, but there is no comparison, apart from the vocal range. They sing pop songs (and damn well too) whereas Ian Curtis sang from the heart.........it's such a shame that he was a twat though.
