This feels like quite a pivotal week to me.
Two tough away games for us. One thing in our favour, of sorts, is all clubs have either two home or two away games this week. Whilst that means Newcastle have two home fixtures, both Reading and Leeds are, like us, on the road twice.
However, Reading kick off with a very winnable away game at Birmingham tonight, who I think are yet to win under Zola, and Leeds will fancy their chances at Blackburn too.
TV interest comes tonight in the form of the key mid-table clash between Brentford and Aston Villa. Tomorrow Newcastle's routine 4-0 thumping off QPR will delight Sky viewers.
Tuesday
Barnsley v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Birmingham City v Reading
Brentford v Aston Villa
Bristol City v Sheffield Wednesday
Cardiff City v Preston North End
Ipswich Town v Derby County
Nottingham Forest v Rotherham United
Wednesday
Blackburn Rovers v Leeds United
Burton Albion v Fulham
Newcastle United v Queens Park Rangers
