Just as the leader of a political party ultimatley carrys the can for his party, so must the manager of a football team.If excuses were points we would be in the top 3, but they are not and we arnt.I want results not sob stories, Mr Bloom must be starting to lose patience i would imagine.Another Saturday night and weekend bollocksed up.Sorry facts are facts and you cant really argue as the table is now starting to take shape and the better teams are starting to settle down, and we are not one of them.I belive we could be and should be but the facts dont lie, im pissed off with being pissed off.

I have to agree. Slade's days are numbered. Sadly

But no one blames Gordon brown for Harriet Harman's husband ordering porn. No one blames him for the cringeworthy soundbytes she filled her speech with.

There are limits to what the leader/manager is responsible for.

Gordon Brown and Russell Slade do have one thing in common.Neither of them will be in Brighton next year as top man.

I blame Gordon Brown for the porn scandal, and I have faith in Russell Slade. And also it hasn't bollocksed up another saturday night and weekend, its been a shit afternoon. I will still have a good night tonight and a good day tomorrow. If it's bollocksed up your weekend i think you need to find a hobby

If it's bollocksed up your weekend, that is a choice you make, not Slade. The buck with your life, and how you are with the result, stops with you.

Choosing to suffer doesn't make you more passionate or more of a fan.

What a dumb thread, one of many. How is the sending off Slade's fault?

One sending off isn't Slade's fault, two isn't Slade's fault, three can be seen as unlucky. But when you've had as many sendings off as you have points, then there is clearly a problem with discipline, and that is the managers responsibilty to sort out.

This reminds me so much of this time last year. People, including myself, said we were too good to go down, that things would get better. We even thought we had proof that things were improving after beating Leicester and Millwall, and look where it all got us.

Slade should be given five more games, but I think everyone would agree that we can't leave it as long as last year to change if things don't improve.

Why not? We stayed up last year, finished 16th...

You think we'd stay up again if we were 8 points adrift with 6 games left or whatever it was? Last year was an extra-ordinary escape.

Anyway are you saying you would be happy with that?

Spot on.

We played well and tried our hearts out today. Dicker, Tunnicliffe and Bennett were excellent and they are all players Slade brought in. For those of you jerking the knee, take a minute to think.
What is frustrating is that these points dropped will cost us a play-off place. We will be mid-table this year.

Apologies, I'm far too worked up for subtleties like that at the moment!
