I jest, but are there actually any really good boozers in Eastbourne?

The Dew Drop Inn on South Street - watched the World Cup Final in there on plush sofas on a big screen

Anthing in the middle of town is dire, although The Loft seems to be having a go at not being total shite.

I used to take my lunch break at The Terminus. Apart from being full of old pissheads it was actually quite peaceful and friendly

BN21 is not really a "pub" but more a bar...and I can vaguely remember it being alright

And that is the end of my list of acceptable pubs in Eastbourne.

Dew Drop, Eagle and the Dolphin, which has improved beyong all recognition in the past year.

The Gildredge at a push.

The Pilot and The Lamb outside the centre and the Counting House for sunny days(!)

Possibly the Marine if eating along seaside but that's a bit of a push to be honest.

Anywhere but the Nuthouse in Seaside Rd

seems a bit harsh on first inspection but probably accurate...

(Bibendum and the rest of the South Street Shuffle have been ok if in good company / drunk - but then that isn't really the point...)
