BHAFC vs Donny at the Amex. Our homecoming and my 5 year old sons first ever football match.
WWE Raw tour high fived triple H and Stone cold Steve Austin as they came down the entrance ramp. Also got spat at by Molly Holly
Jacksonville Jags vs Green Bay Packers in Jacksonville 2010
NY Mets vs ? 2008 crap match but the last sporting event my Dad and I had together. Got a mexican wave started and taught my section of the crowd some BHAFC style songs.
BHAFC vs Rushden and Diamonds FA cup. Didnt actually attend but watched the match in Amsterdam. Got absolutly bladdered and ended up teaching a bunch of Ajax fans our songs. We all sang our hearts out in the pub. At the end of the game they took me to the Ajax arena and paid for me to see a match, then taught me their songs.

wished: Anything at the Olympics this year
BHAFC vs Man URE FA cup 83

Crikey, this thread has just made me realise I've only ever been to about half a dozen or so professional sporting events that didn't involve either BHA or SCCC, and of those, only 1 wasn't football (touring cars at Brands)!

So, top 5 attended are all Albion
First game back in Brighton at Withers
First game at Amex
Hereford
Anfield 2-2 FA Cup draw
FA Cup semi final

Top 5 wish I had been
1983 Cup Final - first match (was at replay)
1979 Promotion match at Newcastle
ANY winning away ashes series
The "Super Saturday" in the Olympic Stadium
1966 World Cup Final

The Field of Uck
Attended:
1. Australia v England, 5th Test at the SCG, Day 1, January 1999 - Darren Gough's hattrick (the remaining days were just not as exciting!). YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

2. England v Poland World Cup Qualifier, 8 September 1993, a crowd of 70,220 - allegedy the loudest ever crowd at the old Wembley Stadium. Stuart Pearce's free kick for the third goal was probably the hardest I've ever seen a ball kicked live. 1993 (September 8) England 3-Poland 0 (World Cup Qualifier).avi - YouTube

3. The Paralympic Closing Ceremony - not exactly a sporting event, but something that I don't think will ever be beaten as a live event in this country in my lifetime.

4. Hereford v Albion 1997. Agony, Despair, Ecstasy & Relief all crammed into 90 minutes. Oh, and there's only one Mayor of Ledbury!

5. The Open, Sandwich , Final Day (twice). The world's best golfers doing things that I could only dream of on a golf course.

Wished I had been at:
1. 1966 World Cup Final.
2. The Monaco Gand Prix 1992. Mansell all over Senna in the last few laps. Perhaps better seen on the TV. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
3. England v Scotland Euro 96.
4. Benn v Eubank, 18 November 1990. Remember going to watch the Albion at West Ham the day before, the atmosphere between the two sets of supporters was fantastic with us supporting Eubank & them Benn.
5. Newcastle v Brighton, 1979. THAT Promotion!

There is a quality book I think by David Frith about the Bodyline series called Bodyline Autoposy. Really interesting read the whole series was highly controversial and went all the way up to government. Douglas Jardine really was a ruthless captain described as 'having pathological hatred of Australians'.

I think it would have been really interesting to go back around 100 years and watch jack Johnson become the first ever black heavyweight champion of the world he won it in Sydney Australia against Tommy Burns either that or the original fight of the century against former champ James Jeffries. The discrimination Johnson took throughout his life was amazing. My favourite sports book is unforgivable blackness which describes in great depth how much hatred there was towards African Americans in the deep south. It's amazing Johnson avoided lynching in view of his lifestyle choices.

Brighton Ipswich last day of the season 1991. 5th day at the oval 2005 to see us get the little urn back too. Those were special. The big miss... Edgar Street. Broken ankle, unemployed. My fortunes have always coincided with the albions.
