Needs a run of 30 starts to really showcase his ability. That's 4 goals (6 goals if we include EFL Trophy) and 12 assists for Blackburn and Stoke from 26 starts since last season.

26 starts from 43 appearances.

We have confirmed it.

Hopefully he’s the only highlight in an otherwise disappointing season for those twats down the road.

They also seem to think they might be getting ACD too. Any rumours from this end?

Also, rather amusingly, they have this thread -
"So what is our best X11 if everyone is fit?" - best XII? - no wonder they managed to win promotion! Wonder if we should try getting away with it.

Interesting move for Rushworth - presumably Swansea would’ve wanted him back based on how well he did there last season?

It’s still a decent league to be playing every week in, and much better for his development than the occasional game in the cup for us. You just wonder what we’ve told him in terms of plans for eventual integration into the first team squad (or if it’s difficult to make any promises at this point).

Yup, at the end of the season, Swansea definitely talked about wanting him back. But I guess they weren't keen on sitting around waiting for Verbruggen to get fit.

I imagine it will be along the lines of. "We have a superb GK in Bart who next summer will be worth £50m+ especially if Chelsea come sniffing. Go play regularly and return next summer for first team involvement"

With a few Prem clubs interested in Ramsdale, he may even get a prem loan in a busy side

The Hull paper is reporting competition for the loan signing, so obviously more than one club wanting Rushworth.

Seems everyone who needs a first-choice keeper for the season is sorted: Ramsdale to Soton, Johnstone to Wolves. Can you think of any other PL clubs that might require Rushworth's services?

Ipswich was the one. But then for some reason they signed Muric, who is useless.
