Reminds me - when Wardy played the opposition would often send on a sub who'd just be there to try and take him out of the game.

Often some talentless fat guy would enter the game, just a witless clogger and basically just charging in after Ward's legs. Saw a couple get sent off almost immediately (to ironic cheers) too, thanks to refs that were obviously aware of what was going on!
