Yes, he was born in Canada, he's a League Two journeyman who spent time at Worcester City for a few seasons under his old mate Andy Preece who he played with at Bury because no other league club came in for him seemingly until Macclesfield stepped in two years later...

Ideal for next season then:thud:

For god's sake the club can do no right. There are no rumours so people complain. There is then the rumour about McNulty and some people say we are setting our sights too high and should be more realistic. Now we are apparently interested in this guy people write him off as a lower league journeyman. Is there any player that people are happy for us to sign.

Where does this rumour come from?

Baloney!

He seems a decent player to me, taken from Wikipedia.......

Terry Dunfield (born 20 February 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is an Canadian footballer, currently playing for Macclesfield Town.

Dunfield made his only Premier League appearance against Chelsea for Manchester City in 2001. He came on in the 36th minute due to an injury. In 2002, he was loaned to Bury, who would later buy him from Man City. However, he was inconsistent for Bury, and they decided not to renew his contract and moved to Worcester City.

Dunfield signed for Macclesfield Town in July 2007 after a trial period during pre-season.[1] He became the clubs player of the season 2007/08.[2]

Midfielder. Has played 150 odd league games and scored 8 goals. When at Manchester City Keegan described him as one of the best passers in the club, but poor heading ability and stamina issues. Shrewsbury thought they'd got him this week for a 'nominal fee' but player failed to agree personal terms.
