I think that is probably our best team at the moment. I would imagine that the Crewe game has come too soon for Reid. If we can come out of the blocks quickly, that would boost the confidence and hopefully we can use a decent performance against Crewe as a springboard.

how many pre-seasons game did reid playin.... it would be nice to see the boys play well and get the 3 points

it will be good to see forster get a goal.. as revell did on the first game of the season last year

think that's pretty well it although wonder if he will persist with Mayo rather than Rents. Expect Reid to be among the subs this week but hopefully he will be fit enough to displace Fraser soon.

The team will be the one quoted in the first post, but I'd prefer this midfield line-up.

Super Bas......Fraser....Hammond....Cox

With Fraser playing a more defensive role. As he always seems to fade after about 60mins I'd sub Reid for Fraser if we are losing, or El Bad if we are tearing up the history book and winning.

Agreed, I thought Savage and Fraser both looked good in there cameos against Reading.

when watching baz on the right during pre-season he looked quiet good....

play the long ball out to him and he knocks it in side... and he even get a chance to run at defenders as well ( sorry thats was a bit over the top)

Have we actually got ANYONE who's a real right-sided player for midfield?

hmmmm not so sure about that, he did pretty well the other night and i reckon he can do a smoother job of picking out Forster all things concerned

the harshest decision has got to be upfront, now Revells brilliant, Forsters expected to start but after the pre-seasons Nathan Elders had how the hell can you tell him hes going to start from the bench?

other then that it looks a not too shabby squad really

Are you mad, man?!

Revell is BRILLIANT? Is he? You sure?

How can you tell Elder he's on the bench? EASILY, and he's lucky to be there!

so you would have Bas and Forster up front then?

as for the points, 1/ yes, yes he is and 2/ why ?, he has put in the work towards the end of last season to get the strength to fight in this league and as proved in the final couple of games he can play it , and although yes they haven't been top rate opponents he has worked hard in pre-season games

he is worth a crack upfront for sure.
