I really don't see the fuss about either of them. I'd much rather have a cold fruit juice or water. Last cup of tea was about two years ago and I've only had one coffee in the last six months.
If I can get proper coffee, then I will always have it. If they only have instant then I'll have a mug of tea. Two sugars please luv.
At home I have a De longhi coffee maker and it's a bit of a mess about but it does deliver a lovely cup.
Coffee on the train - I will even miss my morning train if I can't get a coffee first
Coffee when I get to the office
Coffee about 1030
Tea about 4
Tea after dinner
I went years without drinking tea but have got back into it recently.
I now drink tea and coffee (Gold Blend and Nespresso), without any real pattern to it. I can take either of them black or white, and with or without sugar.
Sometimes I treat myself to a latte from Costa, but not too often.
Only I can make tea which meets my specifications - strong enough that a mouse can walk over it , and the colour of an ancient leather football ; So it's tea at home and work.
But I dont have the equipment to make espressos or ristrettos ; so i have them prepared for me when I'm out and about , by some buxom East European wench.
Tea largely. At home I insist upon Yorkshire Gold, anything else is sewer water. Out and about I likes an Earl Grey, it all tastes the same so can't really mess it up, or a hot chocolate for a treat. Rarely drink coffee it doesn't really agree with me and it makes me wanna plop.
