Tight shorts said:If they messed up and you are employed, ask them to collect it through your tax code for 2007/2008 tax year. You will have extra £120 tax deducted each month. They will collect tax of up to £2000 this way but you are supposed to have filed Tax Return by end of December. If it's their fault they will still do it though. They did for me a few years back in a similar situation. Send them a letter and ask them to do this and point out the error. Good Luck.
Les Biehn said:Cheers mate. Gonna try and get a loan to pay it off, apparently you can get 4 weeks dispensation from the end of January where they won't charge you any interest. After that they do so will just sort it out that way.
