But for Stuart Law we would have been quite close. At 229 for 4 the remainng batsmen only scored 19 runs out of the next 100 odd. That man is a great batsman yet can't get near the Aussie team anymore - shows the gulf in class there unfortunately.
Come on Sussex, make the best of some decent weather, a flat pitch, and score 400 and make Lancashire bat on a tiring pitch and socre 250+ with mushy coming into his own. Its not over yet chaps !

Someone from Sussex has to make a big ton with support coming from elsewhere. This is Wardy's chance to show that he's capable of scoring lots of runs and I reckon Minty could get dig in.
I'm afraid I can't see Grizzly or Prior getting many when the going's tough like this. I'd love to be proved wrong but I reckon the two of them will get no more than 50 between them.
