They must be close, I think one more trophy would put them up there with Manchester United.

I know its a smaller scale, but for a small club, 8 trophies in 9 years which (after the epic Twenty20 THRASHING), covers both divisions and cups in every format of the game is pretty special.

After so many years winning just the odd trophy, these really are halcyon days aren't they. Makes me very proud to be from Sussex

(and whilst we have a fair few o/s players, that bloody Northants team was essentially South African!)

How does sussex's success compare to other counties? Has another county won a similar number of trophies?

Northants had more South African's than England, that says a lot!!!
Chuck in O'Bria too, I think they had 6 over seas players, compared to our 4 in the 1st semi final!
