Strong rumour - ALL pubs around Selhurst to be closed on Tuesday

Just got off the phone from a very helpful pub lanlord in Selhurst who told me publicans are meeting at Croydon Police station on Monday re game on Tuesday. He said strong rumour that ALL pubs in the vacinity will be closed on Tuesday! Anyone else heard this?
