b. Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.

Guns:
a. The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.
b. The number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups) is 1,500.
c. The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188.

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than
gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do".
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Quality demonstration of how statistics can be used to distort something to suit an arguement.

As pointed out, nearly everyone has a doctor so if you work out the figure of deaths involving doctors *by population* (ie how many people use a doctor) you get an accidental deaths by doctor figure of 0.00048, so your actually only 2.7 times more likely to die by doctor than by gun. Additonally, most people involved in a life threatening situation with a doctor are either sick or already dying.

Treat all statictics with suspicion. everyone know 38.9% are made up anyway.
