So as we look to the new season, Stoke have won their appeal to keep their pitch narrow after an number of clubs complained to the league about this but what are the differences between everyones pitches? Here is a table to show this…

Well we're used to playing at Withdean and that doesn't fit the minimum requirements so I think we'll be fine.

According to the Football Ground Guide website, Withdean is the same size as Anfield, Craven Cottage and Stamford Bridge at 110 x 75 yads

i believe it was muted to be the same as Wembley which is 115 x 75 yards

Do we have a particularly wide game then? Thought we go through the middle of pitch more often

I think we have a very wide game, that doesn't mean we don't go through the middle though, it just means the players in the middle have more space. If the Stoke pitch is 5 yards narrower then that could make it a little trickier for us but on the other hand its the weaker team who generally prefer to have a narrower pitch and it could help us as the Stoke players will have less space to use their quality.
