how many positions do we need to improve for next season (IF we get promoted)

i think both fullbacks need covering . no one amazing just someone who we could trust as a back up
a defensive midfielder when kish goes . Jonathan Douglas would be a top class signing IMO
a winger to give benno and noone competition LUALUA springs to mind :) but i would also be very happy with dale jennings .
and a striker ...
le fondre
kevin phillips
Will Hoskins
Craig Mackail-Smith
the list goes on and on

i think not only will that secure a championship spot but would get us mid table

far to early yet tho , one game at a time

I think that we would have more chance of Roy Jennings playing than signing Dale Jennings. I think that TB and Gus will be looking at beinga force within The Championshipnot just making up the numbers so there may be a number of signings and perhaps some popular players this season may go.

Not this Le Fondre thing again. How many times has anyone here seen him play?

there was a thread a while back and a few people have seen him play
he was meant to be head and shoulders above everyone else

Brighton
one keeper
two fullbacks
one centerback
one winger
two centermids: one defensive, one matt sparrow-ish.
two strikers: replace sandaza and holroyd, perhaps hoskins and mikail-smith

I am sure that every position will be considered by Gus and TB.

I agree. TB has already gone on record as saying we'll have a top 6 budget in the Championship, so I imagine we'll be looking at 8 to 10 new faces.

People seem to presume we will look at league 1 players if we go up,im sure gus has a higher calibre of players on his list.

2 brazilians
2 argy's
1 columbian
2 spanish
1 italian
The goal would be the premiership is we go up not back to league 1:D

If it is as back up, as most people rave about Calderon and Painter, would it not make sense to sign an experienced younger version of Mauricio who can play either left or right back as needed.
