The official twitter feed is calling him Kavanagh, in which case it is probably Chris Kavanagh from Manchester.

Not a new listener at all, I listen to almost very game living abroad. I am saying that his speech seems to have got worse. The content of what he actually says has always been fine.

When he first saw him, he played as an attacking midfielder and was excellent at getting into the box. Scored a couple early on too. Since then he's never really been used in that position, more of a deep lying left sided player, a nuts and bolts type. I think he's better played further forward (unless that's been coached out of him!).

Fair point, but that seems (and is!) a long, long time ago...
