The Barry Fry interview on TalkSport exposed this the day he signed for us. Also QPR "would have" signed him but Briatore and Co wouldn't release the funds. As for your lot, clearly if you had made a similar offer as us, he'd have chosen to join you, it really isn't rocket science.

I didn't think Norwich made a bid at all. There was interest in January but nothing afterwards. The clubs that made bids were Leicester, WHU and ourselves. Warnock wanted to bid but the QPR board said no.

We equalled the offers of the other clubs, dimwit, which is why Peterborough allowed him to come and discuss terms. It wasn't a case of outbidding anyone.
