I have no contacts, but a brain that told me Knight could not stay on and the only way that the builders would have started work on Falmer was if someone was paying for it. It wasn't going to be the banks so clearly Bloom or someone else was in for a lot of cash. It was either that or no Falmer.

Oh and I know one of the bank people that the Albion approached for Finance over 18 months ago who told me that they were saying they had a major investor who would stump up a large part of the stadium finance.

It definately was the former and I've discussed this with Giraffe.

I overhead something "slip" about funding, well over a year ago and it pointed quite clearly to investment from an individual.
