Looking at history ... there are very, very few examples of revolutions undertaken by people who are so desperately poor that they are eating roots.

If Mugabe is going to be overthrown by anyone, it is far more likely to be disaffected army officers who make the first move.

Yes, I meant a "coup". I don't think a grassroots uprising would be possible given how Mugabe's thugs are entrenched in most of the communites. I am amazed mass starvation has not yet arrived considering the farms have been decimated and there is little hard currency to pay for imports.

White men can no longer invade African countries is the simple answer, given our history there. I doubt it would happen even if there was oil in Zimbabwe. The African countries, in particular South Africa, should be sorting this out. Shame on them.

Correct. But I really don't think it will ever happen; as posted above, Zimbabwe's own army will move before South Africa does.
