Scott Walker has one of the best voices I have ever heard, shame he appeared to disappear into an opium den (allegedly) and pretty well stopped recording.

Seriously though, Thom Yorke has haunted me for many a year. Although i suppose he is more fallen angel than cherub-on-high now.

I think Dan Harding looks a bit like Thom Yorke but is harder in the tackle (allegedly).

Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run (the bit after the breakdown "1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive...")

Highly agree with The Boss fans on here, The River on that live 3 CD's is amazing. Also the start of Cover Me but the song that makes my hairs stick up is always...again off that 3 live CD...My Hometown

I think Alison Goldfrapp (of Goldfrapp) is a pant wettingly good singer!

Also, one of the guys in Gomez is/was a cracking singer - kind've husky shouting type.... excellent voice!

Whatever happened to Gomez - In Our Gun is a couple of years old now...

Have about 200 recordings of Like a Rolling Stone on various concert albums ..... there is one version from Dan Haag in 1989 where his singing of it is awesome
But the best ever version was in 1980 (or 81?) at the Fox Warfield and Mike Bloomfield joins him on stage with Al Kooper (they both played onthe original) it is breathtaking ....Bloomfield died a month or two later!

The version by Articulo 31 on the soundtrack of Masked and Anonymous is pretty interesting too, as is My Back Pages in japanese by the Magokoro Brothers
