All fights in and out of Shoreham Airport in West Sussex have been grounded after its parent company went into administration.
The Erinaceous Group announced on Monday it had appointed administrators to the company with immediate effect. Trading on the stock exchange was also suspended amid reports it had debts of a quarter of a billion pounds. It is understood airport managers took the decision to halt all flights as the insurance might no longer be valid.
