I've just gone on the season ticket waiting list for me and my two boys, what are the chances we'll get one ? Is there a general consensus on chances ?
No problem.I've just gone on the season ticket waiting list for me and my two boys, what are the chances we'll get one ? Is there a general consensus on chances ?
Personally, and with absolutely no evidence or knowledge to back this up so it's just a wild hunch, I'd think they'd be pretty good. There's always a 'drop-off' and of course there's the new additional seats to sell. Plus they've had difficulty in selling out the match-by-match tickets this season (my wife said she could see loads of empty seats on the TV for Hull), so perhaps next year they might decide they'd rather take the guaranteed income from a ST as opposed to trying to make a bit more by selling seats on the more expensive match-by-match basis.I've just gone on the season ticket waiting list for me and my two boys, what are the chances we'll get one ? I genuinely don't understand why there is a waiting list given the number of match day tickets that are NOT selling out.
I think clubs keep some back for people who for whatever reason cant afford a season ticket, which I think is fair enough, I also think its a good idea to keep some back for people being introduced to the club, my 9 year old went for the first time on saturday and loved it, I wouldnt have committed to a season ticket without seeing his reactions, I knew the 11 year old liked it but wasnt sure about the 9 year old , he's been to Chelsea a lot of times but finds the noise and sometimes the "nastiness" quite intimidating, he loved the amex , is over the moon that we are also going to Burnley at home and really wants me to get a season ticket.I genuinely don't understand why there is a waiting list given the number of match day tickets that are NOT selling out. I could understand why there may be a waiting list for a part of the ground that is sold out, say the North or WSU, but if someone is ready and willing to lock into a season ticket now then why aren't we getting them on board before they change their minds?
I can only assume that the club prefer to have everyone on the same annual cycle and/or are seeking to create the illusion of high demand/low supply.
Cutting to the chase: I'm sure you'll get your tickets for next season without any problems, particularly if you're not too bothered about where those seats are.
There's always one.No problem.
You know we don't throw bananas anymore right?

Glad to see you're 'seeing the light' more and more. We'll have you voting Labour and reading the Guardian by the end of the year!
There are about 500 of us on the waiting list, I went on this morning. how many new seats going in ?You could always ask the club how many people are on the waiting list ahead of you - that's what I did when I joined it just after last season started

We switched this weekend to 1901 (no waiting list - sorted on the day)
spoke to my mate , I think I'd like to go for west lower , nearer the north stand, apparently 70% of brighton goals scored there , good atmosphere etc, and I will know a few people, anyway, we will see.Agree with severnside gull - East stand lower. Family stand if you can get in. Prices are cheaper, and loads of kids that age in that area.

I was in the east lower for the newcastle game , I will weigh up the prices , really looking forward to next season now !That is directly opposite the family part of the East. That is also up the Goal End!
You'll pay significantly more for your kids' seats in the WSL. In the FS it's £5 a game for U16 and £1 for U10. Good to be near people you know though.
