If you've got internet banking on your new account you should be able to set it up yourself on-line.

You can set up standing orders yourself but not direct debits

DD's are complex little devils that go into a world of their own 3/4/5 days before expected date, establishing funds availability, changing their timings to avoid weekend, bank holidays, working days after weekends etc. Be a little patient with them

Spoke to Ticket Office this morning as mine still not been taken, they are apparentley a little late this month.

The guy confirmed that there would be no issue getting through the turnstiles with your smartcard tonight.
