Most clubs have one though and it's fun for the kids...

Most of them are just an embarrassment.

The only one my kids remember is the one at Grimsby. He was quality!

I voted NO

Chaddy the owl at Oldham was good and he got a cheer from the Albion fans for his penalty kick.

Generally speaking, not many of them are good.

We've got a gorilla at Perth Glory games. I think it is stupid, but children love it. If the Albion want to attract more kids and expand its market for future generations, then as lame as it is, they should consider it.

Who the hell voted yes?!!

Presumably people who don't remember Sammy the Seagull. Yes kids, we used to have a 'mascot' at the Goldstone, and he was rubbish. He was sacked, but I can't recall whether this was just because of his sheer awfulness, or to save him from further derision being poured on him by the North Stand!!!!

Don't go their again!!! Please!!!

How about representing the gay stereotype of Brighton by having a giant Freddie Mercury prancing in front of the opposition?

Bob Booker is too busy nowadays :lolol:

I think its a great idea just imagine advertising the job in the paper it would look hilarious. Person wanted 1 sometimes 2 times a week to dress as a giant seagull. Just dont let michael jackson cop ear of this or we could all be in serious danger:lolol:

I'm torn, I think they are a bit crumby and American, but having said that I would quite like to do it as I reckon it would be a laugh winding up away fans and dancing in front of out lot.
