Went for my morning dip off Seaford earlier, drying myself on the beach and less than 20ft from the shore was a grey seal. Never seen one that close to shore before, stayed in the same spot, sticking its head up every so often, doing backstroke with its head up at one point. I've had a grey swim around me off the Gower before but that was quite a way out at sea. Had no phone on me this morning, but was pretty much this sight:
