Does anyone know anywhere in Sussex where I might be able to get my hands on a bottle or two of this fine fine beer? They used to sell it a few years ago in Safeways in Lewes, and then think it had a stint in Tesco as well. They sell it in TGI Fridays but thats no good - it either needs to be either a pub in Brighton or a shop!

Any ideas?

Hadn't thought of that to be fair - its imported from the States so not sure how much they'd know about where it ends up getting stocked here but worth a try! Would there usually be a central importer or something?

Just thought the good collective brains of NSC might have some knowledge...

I know what you mean, I have a huge liking for Molson Canadian. I was just thinking that maybe they could give you the name of their distributor here and then you could try them and so on.

To be fair, not ideal but its not totally extortionate and you can buy by the case - maybe good for a special occasion, e.g. the superbowl!

Majestic sell this at £22.80 for a case of 24 x 355ml bottles. I've also seen Boston on sale in some Sainsburys recently.

Majestic eh? Where is one of those? They didn't have any in the Lewes Road Sainsbury's today, but thats not to say that others don't have?

There's one on the Old Shoreham Road in Hove. I believe it's almost adjacent to a well known :sob: retail park

I swear I've seen that in a local Supermarket, either Tescos Holmbush or Sainsburys Lyons Farm. Surprising what Tescos stock sometimes. They had the Sierra Nevada Summerfest beer on special a month or so ago and it really was something else. Typically dissapeared from the shelves when i went back for more but a definite stock time up when it reappears.

No, no, no - Oddbins is adjacent to the retail park. Majestic is further along near The Stadium pub.

There's the american bar in the O2 that sells it.

On the other hand I have just had a few bottles of it whilst sitting in a bar in Chicago> Very nice - the winter beer is very good too

Try Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA if it’s on sale in the UK - 6% and pleasantly hoppy. I saw Harveys Christmas Ale in one of the specialist beer shops out here at $6 a bottle - at that price I only bought a few bottles but it does travel very well. Even though I can get Sam Adams on draught in the bar just round the corner I still miss a pint of Harveys Sussex

They sell it in Sainsburys Lyons Farm so i assume most of them will stock it.

you can get this on draught in manchester - something to do with local distributor or something. £4 for a pint of ale though, it's not that nice.
