See Wayne Rooney has just been sent off for what was meant to be an elbow.
Pathetic decision, fergie was not happy. Think the refs have got it in for the boy. was up til then the best player on the pitch

Against Portugese opponents?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry!

Crap refereeing you say? Hmm

Meopham, Kent.
Th eplayer did go down rather easy. I know that's hard to believe of a Porto player, but that's how it appeared to me.

I just saw it once, at normal speed, on Sky News and it looked as if he jumped for the ball and elbowed the defender. Whether it was intentional I don't know but I could see why the ref would send him off.

I think it was a sending off. You cant jump with your arm that high.

you cant jump without your arm in the air. look at his eyes, never took them off the ball. The decision is clearly wrong. Fact is a minute before that incident there was a similar if not worse one on a united player and the ref didnt even book the porto player.

Me thinks the ref wants to become as famous as Jeff Winter!

Again he knew what he was doing, arms in the air - I think it was more than a yellow not a red - alas for him his past is catching up with him.

Funny about Carrick tho.
