Damn it.....can't help but bite. Even if he did initially resist arrest, the point where he was lying on the floor, defending himself, with at least 4 police officers beating the living daylights out of him with said nightsticks, might have been time to stop beating him!!

Restraining him is perhaps a very very wrong description of events.

It was not the video footage of Rodney King being battered that sparked the riots is was the decision in the courts afterwards that exonerated the policemen involved that set things off. Hardly surprising was it ?
