I remember her doing an interview on the tv years ago and she said that she use to be a dancer on the Palace Pier. During WW2.

I love watching Corrie. It has the right blend of serious and humerous issues. Betty didn't have many storylines but always seemed to be in every episode. She looked much younger than her age.
