You'd probably get a couple of Zingers in KFC for that. And drinks and coleslaw.

Yes, there is an obscure one you may like an its for veggies = root master, basically your eating on an old routemaster bus around Brick Lane.

Unless you're looking for a real destination restaurant, I always enjoy going to the Balans restaurants. The food is great, the staff are really friendly, there's loads of different choices including standard favourites and there's a real gay vibe which makes for an entertaining and relaxed atmosphere. Get there for Happy Hour 5-7 (I think) and you can enjoy two cocktails for the price of 1.

Website here:

Balans Caf Bars and Restaurants, located in London, England and Miami, Florida.

For < £150 for 2 people, any suggestions? Any kind of food will do except Italian.

if you can be arsed to get over there, OSLO COURT in st johns wood is amazing food - it is based at the bottom of a 70's apartment block, is decked out in pink tablecloths and has a massively gay waiter. If that doesn't put you off, then go and delight in the the beef wellington and a nice bottle of Torres

Wow this is a broad brief.

Could try this one, which starts way under your budget, which means you can go to town on the booze list if you choose.

Welcome to Pierre Victoire . . . home of the set menus Dean Street Soho

Pierre Victoire was a 90's bistro chain, which expanded too fast and then imploded. Many but not all of the restaurants were excellent and this one still is based on lunch there this week.

who said the days of irresponsible lending from banks was over?

We been recommneded several times, its always packed to the ..................... If you hate eating dead things, its meant to be very good.

Though you may get the same experience for £10 less by eating a big mac and leaving your greasy wrapper on the seat.

One place I love and will give you some change from 150 is The Mango Rooms in Camden. Slightly high-end Caribbean. Lovely place with a nice vibe.

Oh, you'll get a load of monied gentleman of colour in there...and they will ALL sound like Spoony.

The thing is, if you weren't supposed to eat animals why are they covered in meat?

So true, why cover them in fur if not to make fur coats, what a waste.
