Won 4-0 tonight with 2 goals in each half against a youthful looking Wycombe. Brighton opened the scoring on 11 minutes after a through ball in the middle of the park split the Wycombe defence for Paul Reid to open the scoring. On 18 minutes, a left side cross from Piercy found McPhee. His first effort at goal was only half cleared and Mcphee's second bite of the cherry found the back of the net. Two goals in the second half from from Paul Reid and Daniel Beck sowed up a comfortable win. Both second half goals were set up my Mayo. The first was a cross from the left, the second some nifty footwork beating two defenders inside the box before slotting the ball through to Daniel Beck to complete the scoring. FDM in goal had little to do apart from a dive at full stretch in the first half. David Lee partnered Chris McPhee up front until the former was subbed with around 5 minutes to go. An ambitious attempt from the Aussie to get his hat trick came closer to landing on someones kitchen in the houses behind the west end goal.
