Anyone used this Regane hair foam as advertised on NSC ?. At £ 30 a pop is it worth it, or a con ?. Does Bozza refund my money if I do not have a head of hair like Rod Stewart within 6 months ?.

Any baldies out there trying this product ?. Any success ?.

Thanks in anticipation.

You know the ads you see on NSC are very closely related to the Google searches you've been performing recently, right?

...and sites you visit...

What are Google Ads Preferences and how do they affect the ads that I see?

Many websites, such as news sites and blogs, join the Google Display Network, which enables Google to show ads on their sites. Based on your visits to these websites, Google uses an advertising cookie (from DoubleClick) to associate your browser with inferred interest and demographic categories. Google then uses these categories to show interest-based ads on these websites. Google's Ads Preferences Manager lets you edit these categories associated with your browser.

How does Google automatically add interests and demographics to my ads preferences?

As you browse certain Google services and websites that have partnered with the Google Display Network, Google stores a cookie in your browser to understand the types of pages you visit (this cookie appears as .doubleclick.net in your browser). Based on this information, Google associates your browser with inferred interest and demographic categories. Google then uses these categories to show interest-based ads on participating websites.

For example, if you browse many sports-related websites on the Google Display Network:

Google may associate a sports interest category with your cookie.

Using aggregated survey data about the demographic groups that most commonly visit sports-related websites, Google may associate an inferred demographic category with your cookie.

A guy at work swears by it and is constantly rubbing it into his bald spot. I'll take his word for it that it works, although it just looks to me like it's turned his exposed scalp brown. Shoe polish might be a cheaper option.

I seem to have a permanent ad for a fish pedicure. I have never searched for this service.

Get a nice short cut and get on with life. Being bald doesn't make you ugly - that comes from within.

If you’re already sporting the Duncan Goodhew look then buy a hat but if you’re receding and want to stop or slow it then it does work, I grew a little bit back around the temples but the most noticeable thing was thickening of hair where it was thinning. Didn’t start working for about 6-8 weeks though.

I have now come to terms with male pattern baldness and have stopped using it partly because of the cost but also due to the fact it made my forehead a bit shiny and effected my sex drive (apparently it can affect your hormones)

I have to say though I stopped using it almost a year ago and my hair still seems pretty thick, I just look a bit like Frank Skinner or Kevin McCloud from grand designs…saying that girls five years my junior are still keen/stupid enough to have sex with me so fook it, who cares!

They are very clever these Google people. There was an article on the BBC website about how they pay an awful lot of money to sites who carry these ads. Some are now millionaires. i think we should be told...

Talking of ads ..... I can't see any at the moment, not on this thread or any others. Have we fallen foul of Google again?

If it wasn't a con, we'd hear about the breakthrough on the news. Rooney wouldn't have got his back put on his head if foam would have done the trick. Bald people are an easy target for money.
