It's worth posting on this thread just to echo what others have said that he is not worthy of our respect and rememberance. Although it is unfair to blame him for everything that's wrong with the modern game he definitely helped set the ball in motion that led us to the 'premiership is everything' and the 'sit down shut up' all-seater eras.

For me his name is filed in the box that says Thatcher butt-lickers who did their level best to destroy football as a fan's game. Filed in the same box: Colin Moynihan.

Obviously any death leaves behind grieving relatives etc. which is sad, but I can't claim to feeling much grief myself.
