Lancing!! Sompting actually!
Just been speaking to a QPR fan and he said the rumour at QPR is that if they win their game on Wednesday, they'll be going into administration Thursday, which would bring them back down to 42 points.

Looking at their games till the end of the season though they should be safe.

And if you're thinking what's the point f this thread, well I'm bored and don't start to many, so nah!

:p

So what happens if they lose their game, does this stave off administration?

No i think if they win they would consider themselves safe.... and therefore able to take the 10 point pen this season rather than next ?

I could be wrong ?

Just had a peak at their Rivals site, if you have a Rivals ID you can see what they say.

QPR from Rivals

I didn't realise their debts were as bad as that. And people moan about Dick Knight and our board. I'd rather we we playing in League One than not playing at all.

Not Luton! Thank God
They'll want to go into admin as it means they can get away with not paying debtors etc and their debts will be restructured, but they don't want to do it if they are going to get relegated.

Guess they think 42 points is safe and I would agree.

My guess is, that win bonuses etc. could push the to the brink.
Or that they feel they can afford to be deducted 10 points and still be safe.

Well they lost last night - what does this mean? Will they be able to stave off going into Administration?
10 point deduction at the mo brings them down to 39 which is in range for us.

No one likes to see a club in financial troubles, but if it gives us a sniff of staying up...

Is this the way football is going?

Cynical manipulation of the rules to determine who will be relegated.

McGhee was wrong. We never needed a striker. We needed an accountant.

Fair comment. What I would say is that is it not cynical to declare Administration when you are mid table with only a few games to go?

Don't get me wrong, I want to stay up on performance. I'm just throwing this out there for speculation.

If too many of us believed what you said, it would be hard to think that he wasn't already in a shit job.
