Why have Liverpool been granted a new 60000 seat stadium which has a lot of local objections more than Falmer but he gave his approval yesterday.We have been waiting years.What is going on.

What does it for me is that there are LOADS of shitty brown field site just crying out for redevelopment in Liverpool and yet they get a green field site approved!!

It is a good sign imo. I think that after yesterday all that is left is for the i's to be dotted and the t's crossed. It as been a long struggle but we are at the final hurdle and will soon be in the promised land.

You won't find a lot of NIMBY's in Liverpool as the place is such a shithole then anything remotely better is a step up. I used to work there so I do know a little bit about the place.
