I do have to agree with the bare concrete, there is masses of it and i cannot understand why blue panels cannot be put up, it really would make the place look so, so much better. If you look at Old trafford for example, all the barriers have red panels with man Utd signs all over them and no bare concrete, the emirates is similar too.

Considering the better than most access to Public Transport the out of town bit is ridiculous let alone that unlie P'Boro we don't have much that we can knock down to accomodate a stadium nearer the ground. There were loads of blue divider things with Albion badge on them in the South East Corner, like the white ones in the North-West corner

But still the back of the North Stand needs doing even if it was the winning designs from the graffitti competitions etc, or some of the artwork in the north stand, it would look better

Once again, there is a train station RIGHT OUTSIDE the stadium, 3 stops from central Brighton where they can park, drink and eat wherever they like. On the (rare) occasion I drive to an away game rather than coach or train, i FULLY expect it to be a nightmare to park near the ground, at ANY stadium! Perhaps we should encourage visiting fans prior to departure to RESEARCH where they are actually going. It's common f***ing sense, SURELY?

I wasn't there on Saturday but at previous games the queue to get into the shop has been for the ticket desk for collections etc. If you've wanted to go into the shop to peruse the merchandise you just walk straight past the queue and into the shop. However, it's never been made clear that this is the case so I can imagine a lot of people have given the shop a swerve as they believed they had to queue to get in.

It does seem strange to have situated the ticket office inside the shop itself, although maybe I'm speaking with the benefit of hindsight there.

you need to pull the punters into the shop otherwise they won't spend anything. Which is why the ticket desk is at the back of the shop.

exactly.....it's up to any fan travelling to an away game to sort out how to get there.......it takes VERY little research to figure out where the stadium is, find out that parking is a no-go and research the p&r facilities/train arrangements.....it really isn't difficult. the fact that falmer station is right next to the ground is highly publicised, surely that's a hint as to what the best method of transport is

I agree - it almost has a tardis feel. A friend who sits in the WSU said "you make a lot of noise for such a small stand!"

Also, at least w ehave a train station at the ground which so far seems to be coping, have they been to Villa Park and tried getting on a train at Aston station. Took about an hour to get on a train to New street station.

It is our Catherdral and if they like they can go back to the old away end at Withdean and watch the match in a different post code.

That's a good question.

How many grounds do have a station or a tube next door?

I can think of Albion and Millwall off the top of my head. And QPR isn't too far from a tube station.

I haven't been to Cardiff's new ground but Ninian Park was next door to a station - as was Reading's old ground. I can't think of many other stadiums, although die-hard away fans will think of some.
