Ermmm, not quite. He was a councillor who told one of hhis constituents to f*** off and that 'he wouldn't answer any of your f***ing questions BOYO.' But for 5 live to tell the full story would spoil a good silly season story I guess.

The councillor did tell the whole story, but 5Live were concentrating on the "boyo" element. When the prof came on and uttered the "******" word, you could almost hear the BBC Controller have a stroke! Anyway, it was more his attitude than the words, I think - and he said he would do it again and blamed it on the judge making a name for himself!

Still, £750 for insulting a sheep shagger is a bit steep.

5Live may not have been telling the whole story, but the fact he got done for racial abuse suggests that 'boyo' is now a racist term.

In my opinion, it's not.
