One of my colleagues lives in Bathgate. I have messaged him to find out when he is next coming down to Sussex and if he can bring some of these pies with him.

My colleague has confirmed that it is his local butcher and his Dad goes there all the time.

I said to him "that pie sounds so good but so bad at the same time. Maybe I'll get you to bring me one down next time you come to Sussex"

His response was that "It's exactly that - too good but also horrifically unhealthy" so definitely something to try as a one off. He is going to bring one down with him on his next visit so I'll report back.

*For context I like a good pie and I have known the owner of my local kebab shop longer than my wife (my wife and I have been married for 29 years in June) so I think I cam qualified to judge a kebab pie!
