Phones with wi-fi router (creates a hotspot using the SIM card’s data)

Is anyone using such a phone, and what would be the cheapest I can buy which allows a T-mobile sim? I've only just discovered this capability, which is on the new HTC HD2 Smartphone whose spec can be found here

Any Nokia Symbian S60 phone can do this if it has a wi-fi connection of course using a piece of software called joiku spot. i used to do this with my old N95 worked perfectly.

I use my Nokia E71 for just this. It has been a lifesaver since BT cut my landline a few weeks back.

I use an app called Joikuspot but there are several available (see here 8 Best Nokia WiFi Hotspot Applications | Nokia Symbian Themes)

Surprisingly cheap little handset too, compared with the iPhone or Palm Pre. Can pick them up second hand for £130 odd and it is EASILY worth it. Looks beautiful too

Would that be using an incoming GPRS signal, or just a wi-fi one?
