I always think this is unfair to clubs who plan effective budgets but how can the PFA justify the loan money after they turned down a bid for Byfield on deadline day?

Story:

Gillingham have been placed under a Football League transfer embargo after borrowing £200,000 from the Professional Footballers' Association.
But chairman Paul Scally explained on BBC Radio Kent that it does not actually stop them signing players.

"Really, the League doesn't prohibit the club doing transfers," Scally said. "It just means that with every transfer you do, you have to convince the League you're reducing your wage bill and not using PFA money to enhance your squad."

He added: "We're quite happy with that, and we are reducing our wage bill and our costs, but we may well be taking on players and disposing of players."

The embargo was the reason for the delay of striker Gary Mulligan's loan move from Sheffield United, which has gone through.

Abort, retry, fail
Same with Cardiff. Borrowed money from the PFA. Even though Hamman made about £25m from selling Wimbledon.

I think it is very honourable that we have not borrowed from the PFA. Or stupid:D
