made his return for canvey at the weekend and more watched him than were at withdean, a crowd of 7,000! - according to my local paper. (peter smith being an ex player of the year)

Anyone remember is Man of the Match performance at the Pissfield. Came on as a sub with about 15 minutes to go, gave away a penalty, scored an own goal and got a Man of the Match award.

i remember the northampton game in the league cup in which at the time we where winning on away goals, he then game on and played the worst pass back in history and gifted them an away tie at west ham

thought he was pissh,mates loved him ,couldnt see why,very out of his depth,surged forward 8 times out of ten,he would lose control be out of position and the other team would go straight back and score,player of the year joke:ohmy:

As did Junior McDougald and Andy Ansah. The latter became head coach and had a fair few lines each week such as 'OK Boss' and 'Come on lads one more circuit'
