As you are including a cup match, you should really compare it against our best cup match attendance, which was 21,897 v Liverpool, only just lower than 22,000.

Of course, Palace fans do seem to find the concept of a 'sell out' hard to get their heads round - a bit of a novelty at Selhurst I guess. To be clear for them it means all tickets sold, ie no more available even if you wanted to go.

When we get the ground expansion next year, I reckon that there will be around 25 matches where we comfortably surpass the Palace 22,000 record gate for this season.
