Don't really get that idea. No way I'd buy a Palace shirt just to show support for the charity. Guess you're supposed to borrow friend's or something.

Do not give your rival club money for something you wouldn't wear again!

I've given a mate £30 for charity for us to swap shirts for a day. I'll be wearing a Charlton home shirt & he'll be wearing my Palace away shirt.

It doesn't hurt to do it, a good cause benefits & at least I get to give it back at the end of the day, unlike a child.

One of my best mates is a Gills fan. If we swapped shirts I'd end up with a tent and he'd be wearing a crop top!

Maybe he was on his way to Beachy Head. He probably couldn't handle the despair and humiliation of being a Palace fan, so the cliffs of Beachy Head may have looked like the best option to him.
