Season Ticket renewals gone out already with HALF a season to go! Under 10 season Tickets FREE with an Adult ticket. Junior prices up to 18 years old at £5 per match.

The most telling info = First price band deadline ENDS 3rd Feb!

That indicates they are DESPERATE for cash in the bank. Looks like CPFC2010 arent really pumping in the money after all?

But don't you forget, despite this EVIDENCE, they have some owners (that they don't really know anything about, always ends well when that's the case isn't it?) that have BILLIONS (that they will definitely be pumping into the club) to spare.

*cough* GROUPON!* Sorry, what?

They are doing all that is possible to increase attendances, what's wrong with that? If our attendances plummet should we not offer kids for free, etc?

Although GroupOn Stadium is hilarious.

£5 for u18's per game, and free U10's is a great deal, good offer to get the kids in. But yes, it suggests that they are in need of an early cash flow from season tickets. Good stuff.

Of the current STH's at Smellhurst I believe there are quite a few who bought extended season tickets (3/5/10 years) so that money has already been spent.

all this does is delay the shortage of cash until last in the season, especially during summer months when they have no income from matches.

The fact that they are desperate for the cash NOW would suggest that all is not well with the Selhurst coffers. Again.......

If we were desperate for cash we'd have accepted the £10m bids for Zaha that were in the papers. At the very least we'd have sold someone. Instead, we're bidding for players to strengthen our play off push. Dougie has already said the cup run means we're breaking even this season, and we aren't selling anyone in January...

Idiot.

Maybe that £10m bid was paper talk and the bidder in question has realised that you are actually desperate for the money, and will take any sort of firesale offer if they wait long enough.

Fingers crossed he goes for £300,000 soon.

Perhaps they'll offer a bulk deal of £100,000 for any first team player on Groupon?

I think you are the idiot. Clearly your club has already decided it will be playing Champ football at best next season, and is pricing accordingly. Even the people who run your sh1thole have already decided that Phalarse have no chance of progressing. Lost cause mate.

idiot.

No need to accept multi million £ bids for players because all the debts can be written off if need be as HMRC are toothless in getting various taxes paid back when a club goes into administration.

Why would they be desperate for cash now? 1m+ for their cup run and if need be, they could sell of Williams or Zaha.

They are just extending the amount of time they have to sell tickets...

I don't wanna defend them but this grasping at strwas is cringey.

You're funny. I just love how the football world values one of our players more highly than your entire first eleven :). Not that he'd be sold of course, Zaha and Williams are on long contracts.

RE accepting Championship status, I wouldn't be surprised if it were the case! We're expecting mid table and anything better is a bonus. This is a rebuilding season while we wait for Zaha and Williams to get a bit older. Our team gets better every season with another year of experience for our brilliant kids :). Some excellent signings of internationals have worked well for us (Jedinak and Parr) and we've done very well in the market without actually spending more than a million or so. We've just bid for one of Derby's best players, Bailey, and it looks like we might be getting him in. We've got another regular international on trial in Tshabalala.

Steve Parish: "We don't create young players to sell them. We create them to get the best out of them, get us promoted and then hand them to Manchester Unjted when they're ready. Our players are going nowhere."

Its already been mentioned that due to poor attendances and lack of support Palace expects to lose in excess of £3M over the course of the season , the cup run still leaves them £1M+ in deficit
